The Bazar, Poznan
Built in the mid-1800, it once house a hotel, shopping center, concert hall, and casino - the center of political and cultural life at the time.  Headquarters for the rebels in the Wielkopolska Upsrising, the building is now home to upscale shops.

Malbork Castle - post WWII
As you can see by comparing other Malbork photos with this one taken in the laste 1940s (the area round the castle had been cleared) the exterior has been restored.  Much of the interior has also been repaired, but not all.  The chapel looks like a bomb just fell on it. Our guide told us that money is part of the issue; there is also controversy about restoring it to its previous glory.  Perhaps this holy space should be left in disarray as a reminder of the castle's and man's history.
