12 Feb - Photo #365

Christmas 2011
Here it is - photo number 365.  I began this project with a photo of my St. Mark's family, my workmates for more than a decade.  It seems only proper to finish it off with my real family, some of the kindest, wittiest, funniest, bravest people I know.

I've probably taken more photos in the past year than I had in my entire lifetime, pre-project, and I have to say that I'm glad it's over.  Thanks to Ed; I don't know that I would have completed this without your encouragement.

I started this to get better acquainted with my new DSLR camera but found that I ended up taking many of the photos with my little point and shoot, although I do change the settings on my little camera now.  The big one is just often too cumbersome to haul around.

As I look back at the photos, I see some things that I would do differently now.  I may in the coming months, edit some of the photos by cropping, correcting the white balance, or just doing a little something in Photoshop.  I'll add the new versions as I get round to it but keep the old so we can see the comparison.  I may even add some of the many photos Ed has taken of me taking pictures.

Thanks for following along. God bless. --Lois
